History:
This ring has an
engraved floral decoration on the outside and the inscription “All I
refuse & thee I chuse” on the inside with an unidentified maker’s mark, IG
over S. The words display the inconsistency of English spelling of the
period, which was not codified and regularized until the 18th Century. Genuine,
