History:
Double Happiness is when the Chinese
character for joy is doubled; It means “shared bliss” and is often used in
the celebration of marriage, and as an assurance of happiness for the
future.
Feng Shui is the
ancient Chinese philosophy which requires the balancing of energies in the
immediate environment to maintain or increase happiness and prosperity.
Personal adornments are also used as curatives in Feng Shui, where the
character for double happiness would enhance personal relationships and
romance. Pairs of characters encircle this ring, cast in the form of
