History:
This Russian Poesy Ring is a modern
design, using decorative Cyrillic letterforms from a Russian art nouveau
pattern book c. 1900 entitled An Album of Letters and Initials, by K. D.
Dolmatov, currently located in the collections of the New York Public
Library. The sentiment Ot Dushi, which translates, from my soul in
English, is in modern Russian and pronounced almost phonetically as spelt.
The finely engraved letterforms are extraordinarily complex, evenly spaced
around a bold contemporary band and separated by characteristic Russian
motifs. Genuine,
Museum Authorized Reproduction
hand-cast by the lost-wax
method in the US. |

"WOW!!! I got the ring today! The picture looked elegant...but it
really didn't do it justice. This ring is beautiful!!! I can't wait to
give it to my boyfriend...our anniversary is coming up in May. And I can't
wait to get mine! I was really impressed with the delivery time too...very
fast and very much appreciated! Thanks!" -
