History:
The Gaelic languages are spoken by the
peoples of Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Scottish highlands, though
they are related to the Celtic peoples of Wales, southwest England and
western France. The ancient languages, art and mysticism of the Celts
continue to exert a powerful influence over modern western life.
This
simple inscription is here engraved in a Gaelic script,
derived from the rounded capitals of early manuscripts of the 5th to 9th
centuries AD. Genuine, Museum Authorized Reproduction
hand-cast by the lost-wax method in the US.
