History:
Although the inscription on the ring is
French, this 15th century
ring is considered of English origin. The original ring in gold is
formed from a rounded hoop with a figure eight love knot at the back. On each
side is a vase containing a solitary flower, a reference to purity. The interior
of the ring is engraved with the posey "Pur le Meux" which translates
as "For the Best of All."
This ring can be purchased with
your choice of Garnet, Amethyst or Blue Topaz.
Genuine, Museum Authorized Reproduction
hand-cast by the
lost-wax method in the US.
