Une Dezir French Poesy Ring

Une Dezir French Poesy Ring
History: The original museum counterpart is probably English, dated the middle of the 15th century, and was excavated from the River Thames, near London Bridge by the Museum of London. It is engraved “Une Dezir” in period French, which translates as “one desire.” The words are interspersed with three leaf fronds and three wheat sheaves, the symbol of plenty. It was originally enameled.
